On April 2, S.1486/H.2505: An Act Relative to End of Life Options was heard by the Legislature’s Joint Committee on Public Health.
On July 30, 2025, H.2505 was reported favorably out of the Joint Committee on Public Health by a vote of 9-1 to the Joint Committee on Health Care Financing.
On October 14, 2025 the Senate bill, S.1486, was reported favorably out of Public Health to Health Care Financing by a vote of 4-0-1.
On November 17, 2025, S.1486 was voted favorably out of Health Care Financing to Senate Ways & Means by a vote of 4-1-2.
