Access Campaign Medical Outreach Manager The Access Campaign’s goal is to integrate and normalize all end-of-life options, including medical aid in dying, into the standard of care. This position is primarily responsible for strategic advocacy and outreach to medical providers, healthcare facilities and systems, healthcare associations and healthcare regulators around the full range of end-of-life care options, including medical aid in dying. This position focuses on networking and advocacy to persuade healthcare systems to adopt new policies that support patient choice for medical aid in dying, educating doctors and other medical professionals, and recruiting medical providers to become advocates within their networks. This position will seek to build a trusted, reliable, and valuable resource brand for C&C. This position requires a strong commitment to end-of-life choice, including medical aid in dying.
Campaign Manager (Massachusetts & NE states) This position is primarily responsible for providing visionary campaign management and stakeholder engagement for Compassion & Choices in collaboration and coordination with the state team and consistent with Compassion & Choices’ mission. The Campaign Manager oversees the activities of Compassion & Choices within the state(s) assigned as we continue to authorize, expand access, and protect medical aid in dying and the full range of end-of-life options in the assigned state(s).
EOLC Consultant This position is primarily responsible for telephone intake and assessment of calls from general population seeking information and options about end-of-life issues. Consultants will manage client caseload in both aid-in-dying authorized and non-authorized states.
Field Director The Field Director is primarily responsible for managing state teams to authorize, expand access, protect, and improve medical aid in dying and the full range of end-of-life options. This position is responsible for providing visionary campaign management and stakeholder engagement for Compassion & Choices in collaboration and coordination with the state team consistent with Compassion & Choices’ mission. This position will lead our state advocacy programs to build the capacity of the movement, run campaigns, ensure access, and cultivate development opportunities.
Grassroots Organizer Internship, New York The responsibilities of the intern will vary based on the needs of the campaign that week. This position will be a combination of; planning speaking engagements, working and organizing volunteers, researching various topics, advocating at the Capitol and possible data entry. You can expect to be working with volunteers, gathering petition signatures, finding venues and planning speaking opportunities and also planning and attending meetings with local lawmakers. This is an unpaid internship.
Midwest and Southeastern Regional Campaign Organizer This position, is primarily responsible for working closely with the Regional Campaign and Outreach Manager to formalize and streamline grassroots activities while building capacity and infrastructure. The Campaign Organizer will also provide key support for outreach activities and events, particularly around volunteer activities and issue-based campaigns.
National Constituency Manager This position is primarily responsible for providing visionary constituency management and stakeholder
engagement for Compassion & Choices in collaboration and coordination with the state teams and consistent with Compassion &
Choices’ mission. The Constituency Manager oversees Compassion & Choices national activities to reach specifically targeted
National Director of Human Resources and Diversity/Inclusion This position is primarily responsible for the overall management, administration, coordination and evaluation of the human resource function and for helping C&C to realize a diverse and inclusive culture and workforce. Follows best practices and trends in human resources in the following key areas: employee relations, performance coaching, recruitment support,
compensation analysis, professional development, employee engagement transactional activities, onboarding; and diversity & inclusion.
Senior Campaign Associate This position is primarily responsible for working in partnership with the National Director of Political Advocacy, Field Directors and Regional Campaign Managers to implement the organization’s state outreach campaigns which includes campaigns to authorize, expand access, and protect medical aid in dying and the full range of end-of-life options. This position works to coordinate the Political Advocacy team’s reporting requirements and activities, as well as special projects. This position will ensure that the goals and tasks of C&C’s States Advocacy Team are on track and completed in a timely and correct manner.
