Status of Medical Aid in Dying

In 2024, Iowa introduced SF2101, championed by Senator Boulton, which would authorize medical aid in dying. Its companion House bill, HF2288, was introduced by Representatives Croken, Abdul-Samad, Steckman, and Olson. Unfortunately, neither bill received a hearing.
