Faced with a terminal diagnosis, Iowa residents deserve the full range of options for care at the end of life, including medical aid in dying. Medical aid in dying allows terminally ill adults to get a prescription they can take to end their life peacefully.
SF 212, the Our Care, Our Options Act, was introduced by Senators Bolkcom, Trone Garriott, Dotzler, and Celsi on February 2, 2021, and has been referred to the Committee on Human Resources.
