On February 5, the Senate Committee on Education and Health voted not to move SB359 out of committee, effectively ending a path forward for the Senate medical aid-in-dying bill for this legislative session. Without sufficient votes in the Senate to advance the bill, the House bill (HB886) is also, unfortunately, unlikely to move forward this year.
