The Native Hawaiian and Pacific Island Team recently participated in the Merrie Monarch Festival — a week-long cultural festival in Hilo, Hawai’i, that draws thousands each year. Through connecting with attendees and co-hosting a float in the parade, we raised awareness about Compassion & Choices’ work in Hawai’i and the importance of end-of-life planning.
Compassion & Choices is proud to offer a host of tools and resources to help you and your loved ones “finish strong” by planning for an end-of-life experience that matches the life you’ve enjoyed – defined by love, purpose and agency.
Motivated by the impact of racism, inequity and disparities in end-of-life care, we are connecting with people nationwide to spread the word about the importance of end-of-life care planning and accessing quality end-of-life care.
I'm so greatful that my work with Compassion & Choices provides me with the resources to improve my personal life and to allow me to think about hte resources that are out there for families like my own who want to prepare for the end of life.
We are grateful for Eunice and all healthcare professionals and advocates who recognize the importance of end-of-life planning and are facilitating these essential conversations within their communities. Together, we can create a future where everyone has access to the resources and support they need to navigate this critical stage of life with confidence.
