The fight to pass a medical aid in dying bill has been raging in Massachusetts for over a decade.

How can this be when 77% of Massachusetts residents report that they believe people have the right to peaceful and gentle deaths in accordance with their faith and values? …

I am in support of this legislation. While my father had a peaceful death at home surrounded by loved ones, my mother suffered months of enduring nightmarish pain and agony to no avail. I urge readers to contact their lawmakers and ask them to sign on as a co-sponsor of the bill.
