It’s June, and that means it’s time to start celebrating LGBT Pride Month!

As you may know, Pride events attract thousands of people, many of whom express a strong desire for social change and justice. In fact, the aid-in-dying movement and gay rights movement are closely related, with some of the earliest aid-in-dying advocacy coming from communities most affected by the AIDS crisis.

Pride events are a great opportunity to share Compassion & Choices’ mission, and each year we prepare a toolkit to help volunteers recruit new supporters while enjoying the festivities.

The Pride-in-a-Box Toolkit is a one-stop shop that comes with a guide for organizing in the LGBT community, campaign materials, petitions, and resources to start the conversation with folks in your community about their end-of-life options.
