The Buffalo News published an impassioned piece by Compassion & Choices New York Campaign Director Corinne Carey urging lawmakers to pass the New York Medical Aid in Dying Act.
“These recommendations are an extension of what nurses are ethically obligated to do, which is to protect and advocate for the rights, needs and wants of their patients,” Ohio Nurses Association President Deborah Arms told the Cincinnati Enquirer regarding the organization’s backing of end-of-life options education and legislation.
