Compassion & Choices is pleased to offer a law student or recent law graduate an in-person 10-week, full time, summer legal fellowship. Under the supervision of highly experienced staff attorneys, legal interns will serve as part of a nationwide advocacy effort to improve care and expand choice at the end of life. The legal fellowship is specifically focused on Compassion & Choices’ state and federal litigation efforts, but may include opportunities to work on policy initiatives. Work will primarily consist of case support and research and writing on issues related to end-of-life healthcare, which are likely to involve constitutional, civil, and criminal law. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
