Jeanette Leardi: I wish I had access to Finish Strong years ago as I cared for my loved ones in their final days

As Finish Strong goes out into the world, it’s wonderful to see its reception. For instance, on Jan. 29, social gerontologist and writer Jeanette Leardi posted a very nice write-up of Finish Strong on the popular blog ChangingAging.org. Her review is both personal and comprehensive, and assures me that my call for people to “join a patient-driven movement to dismantle the institutional and cultural barriers to living well to the very end” is being heard.
Jeanette writes at the end of her Finish Strong review, “The good news is that I’ve learned a great deal from it now and can apply that knowledge going forward.” I hope this is true for all my readers.
