What are your priorities for 2022?

This past year, we have had the honor and privilege of empowering individuals to make important decisions about their end-of-life journey that reflect their values, priorities and beliefs. I want to thank you for supporting Compassion & Choices in these efforts, and also offer you the opportunity to enter the new year with peace of mind.

One simple way to prepare for the new year is through making resolutions you can keep — and they don’t have to be daunting or overwhelming. Here are three simple resolutions you can make to enter 2022 prioritizing you and your loved ones:

  • Reflect on something that has brought you comfort during uncertain times and make it a priority in 2022.
  • Start a healthy habit — whether it’s drinking more water, taking a daily walk, or meditating, prioritizing your physical and mental health is a great way to start the year.
  • Create a free estate plan to protect the people, pets and causes you care about!

Interested in learning more about that third resolution? Compassion & Choices has partnered with FreeWill to offer our community a free online estate planning resource. Over 400,000 individuals have used FreeWill to make their wills and other estate planning documents so they can secure their futures and protect the people they love. This tool is completely free to you and can help you complete your legally valid will in 20 minutes or less.

Each of these resolutions is a simple step you can take today to prepare for a better tomorrow, and I hope you will consider completing one or all of them today!

Sincerely,
