Engaging Communities of Color: Ensuring All Americans Are Prepared for the Inevitable End of Life

Aired May 26, 2020

Healthcare disparities among both the African American and Latino communities have long existed. Alarming data on the COVID-19 pandemic underscore these disturbing inequities. In addition to concerns of access to healthcare, how we communicate to and engage with different communities remains an ongoing challenge. Our panel will explore the complexities of healthcare disparities among African Americans and Latinos, share messaging best practices, and lead a discussion on engagement strategies.
