<description>My father was diagnosed with stage four pancreatic cancer with metastases to his lungs about five weeks ago. He was given a prognosis of only a few months. On top of the great emotional pain our family is suffering we are now also dealing with feelings of helplessness and frustration that come with the knowledge that apparently he must suffer through significant physical pain while his body deteriorates without the option to end his life on his own terms. Please forgive my rant however I am just starting to become aware of the legalities surrounding this issue. I applaud your work and pray that eventually one day soon other families in all states in this nation will be able to exercise what should be a natural right, to have complete control over ones own body without stigma, judgment or any other interference. Thank you for your time and thank you for your work!
